Australia has a vibrant and diverse population, and we have a responsibility to ensure the sport offers connection and belonging to all, striving for a Water Polo community that is reflective of the greater Australian population.

Water Polo Victoria is committed to working with our community, our partners and other external stakeholders to increase the inclusivity of our sport, and to provide a greater number of opportunities for everyone to get involved in our great sport.

Sport4All

​

Water Polo Victoria are excited to have entered into a partnership with Sport4All. WPV and Sport4All will be working together to make sure our great sport is as inclusive as possible, both parties are committed to providing a greater number of opportunities for all to be a part of the Water Polo community, both in the water and on pool deck. 

 

Resources are available for our clubs and members to engage with on the Sport4All website, and WPV will be working on training and other initiatives through to the end of 2024.

Water Polo Australia - Social Impact

Water Polo Victoria supports, and continues to work with, Water Polo Australia on their Social Impact initiatives. As a global sport and part of a global society, WPA recognises its global responsibility to have a positive impact, not just on the sport we play but the environment we play in, the people we become, the community we support. 

​

Programs

Water Polo Victoria is always open to working with leisure facilities, local governments and other partners to implement inclusive Water Polo programs. Walling Polo, Water Polo with inflatables and modified games/workshops are all possibilities to engage all within the community.

One recent example of this is our work with MOVE Moonee Valley and their Swim & Social Program.
