AYWPC Week One Update #1
It is nearing the end of the first week of the 2020 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships in Brisbane. The premier aged club competition for water polo in Australia.
Our three 14U and two 18U Victorian club teams have played remarkably this week, with all teams positioned in the top 5 of their pools.
Special mentions to MC Tigers 18U Girls for finishing in the top 3 for their pool, and to Melbourne Collegians 14U Boys for leading their pool while remaining undefeated.
Cross-overs
The 14&U Girls and 18&U divisions have played their first day of cross over games, and the 14&U Boys will start their cross over campaigns today.
The MC Tigers 18U Girls have to date played 3 matches in the crossover and positioned 3rd in Pool G while Richmond Tigers 18U Boys have played once are currently positioned 11th in Pool KO.
