Academy Trial Information
The term one trials for the Water Polo Victoria Academy of Excellence will be commencing in February. Open to athletes who aspire to play water polo at the highest level.
Male Program trial dates
5:30am - 7:00am, Monday 3 February 2020, MSAC Diving
5:30am - 7:00am, Wednesday 5 February 2020, MSAC Diving
Female Program trial dates
5:30am - 7:00am, Tuesday 4 February 2020, MSAC Diving
5:30am - 7:00am, Thursday 6 February 2020, MSAC Diving
Openings
We are now accepting interest from Members Born 2008 or older.
1) Athletes Born 2008, 2007, 2006 (12, 13, 14)
Should be able to compete comfortably in a 14U State Team, AYWPC Team or equivalent.
2) Athletes Born 2006, 2005, 2004 (14, 15, 16)
Should be able to compete comfortably in a 16U State Team, AYWPC Team or equivalent.
Born 2006 refer to 1) if not suitable for 16U.
3) Athletes Born 2004, 2003, 2002 (16, 17, 18)
Should be able to compete comfortably in a 18U State Team, AYWPC Team or equivalent.
Born 2004 refer to 2) if not suitable for 18U.

Academy Training Information
Location
Diving Pool, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Program
Weekly in accordance with school term calendar. Six-month scholarship with review to be renewed, including term appraisals.
80% attendance required.

Monday 5:30am – 7:00am
