Victorian Water Polo Country Championships wrap

An awesome weekend of Water Polo has concluded in Albury and Wodonga. The 2024 Victorian Water Polo Country Championships saw 24 teams, and almost 300 athletes, take to the water and compete for the championship.

In sweltering heat, we witnessed great Water Polo, excellent community spirit and a lot of fun. Congratulations to all who participated and to Sharks Water Polo Club Albury for winning the championship shield in both the Men's and Womens competition.

Special thanks to Wodonga Water Polo club for their tireless work to deliver an amazing tournament, Aligned Leisure for use of their brilliant facilities and Delfina for donating the tournament prizes.

We look forward to announcing the Victorian Countries team next Monday, who will compete on the Gold Coast in May. We also look forward to Countries 2025!
