Water Polo Victoria welcomes competitors to the East Coast Challenge this weekend!

The East Coast Challenge (ECC) will kick off this coming weekend, with Water Polo Victoria welcoming some of the best U15 Water Polo players from around the country as they compete at MSAC. Teams from NSW, QLD, ACT, TAS and VIC will battle it out to see who will take home the perpetual trophy as winners of the ECC in 2023. This is also an important tournament in the development of our VIC U15 squads as they progress toward the National State Championships later in September.

Water Polo Australia's National Officials Manager, Michael Hart, will be present throughout the entire tournament to support our referees and officials, and we are very excited to have him on board for this event.

It's going to be an exciting weekend of Water Polo and we encourage the entire WPV community to come along and show your support to our Victorian athletes and officials! Admission is free for spectators all weekend long (July 1- July 3).

The team lists can be found below, along with the fixture here

Good luck to all of our VIC teams and athletes competing in the ECC this weekend and we look forward to seeing many supporters in the stands cheering the teams on! If you take any photos make sure to tag WPV and use the hashtag #WPECC23
