WPV Summer Comp Wrap: Seniors
The Water Polo Victoria Summer Competition wrapped up over the weekend, with some incredibly nail-biting games taking place down at Caufield.
A summer season, which saw so many great games, was capped off by an exciting afternoon of intense Water Polo, which included four Grand Finals decided by penalty shoot-outs and a number of others decided by only a few goals.
These close contests have epitomized the quality of the WPV summer competition in 22/23 and we want to praise all of our clubs, players, coaches, volunteers, referees, staff and supporters for contributing to an amazing season. Water Polo Victoria would also like to thank all our venues for providing great facilities throughout the season, this includes MSAC, Melbourne Girls Grammar School, Kardinia Aquatic Centre, Caufield Grammar School, Melbourne High School, Camberwell Boys Grammar and Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
You can see all our division premiers below, along with individual winners of the Most Valuable Player award and the Leading Goal Scorer award. Congratulations to all.
We look forward to seeing you in the pool again soon for the WPV Winter Competition.
